Frequently Asked Questions

Each of our Chandler homes have two private rooms and four semi-private rooms (shared by two residents). Our Mesa home has eight private rooms and one semi-private room (shared by two residents). Private rooms are provided on a case-by-case basis depending on the needs of all residents in the home. If you feel that a private room is essential, an additional fee can be discussed to secure a private room long-term. 

We do permit smoking at all three of our homes. Residents must have permission from their physician to smoke and must adhere to the smoking schedule (six smoke breaks per day). Vaping and chewing tobacco are also permitted but must adhere to the above schedule. All tobacco products are kept locked up by staff outside of smoke breaks for safety. 

Blue Sky provides each resident with a bed, bedding, nightstand and closet space. If an individual prefers to bring their own bedding and furniture they are more than welcome to do so. Televisions are not provided by Blue Sky however each room does come with cable hookup and wifi - we will be glad to assist you with setting up your television. 

Blue Sky is designed for most providers to come into the home to allow seamless care to our patients. However, we are aware that some specialists do not provide in-home visits. Fortunately, most insurances provide transportation to medical appointments and staff can assist in setting this up. While the vehicle at each home is used mostly for community outings, licensed and insured staff are able to provide back-up, infrequent transportation to medical appointments.
